1995 1996 Front Bumper
Hello,
I am planning on buying a 1995 or 1996 Bronco, but I have a question.
Why do some Broncos have different front bumpers than others? Some bumpers are solid while others have cut outs in the center like the Super Duty trucks of the same years. At first I thought that the "cut out" bumpers were for Eddie Bauers, but I have seen Eddie Bauers with the solid bumper. Is it only used for certain engines? Is it a functional air intake?

I had 95 Xlt F150 that had turbo bumper . Think Ford was using up parts because my buddie Has a late 97 Super duty Xlt with leather seats .But has solid chrome front bumper. Go figure

Most of the last years wer like that cause they were using up stock or whatever they had at the factory, and some just got installed by other owners.
There is someyone on this board that I forgot who he was but redid his bronco with a SD bumber.

I have Factory turbo bumper on my 94 truck now. Is 3rd truck I've put it on, and was used when I got it .(stainless rear drop has been on last 5 Fsieries and one bronco ) Ebay has after market turbo ones now as well as plastic molding. I've got after market ones And have held up fine . Not as long as factory but I paint back of them . I go passed 2 salt sheds on way to work in winter and truck will be completely white W/salt in 1 trip.
