The wife told me i had to sell some calves to pay for the hide a ball that i got in which i dont have a trailer for yet, and to put some money in the bank to help off set the payment increase. Man did this truck pull the load. God i cant believe i wasted all this time with 1/2 ton trucks. I never knew life could be so blessed. Thank God for the super Duty.

Amen!

I still like how some people will ask me why I drive a Super Duty. They just don't know what they are missing.

I just pulled a Chevy out of the mud last night with the truck in my sig, made my day. A friend called me up and said himself and a few other people couldnt pull out this guys truck. When I got there the truck was up to but not over the axles in mud, it was a 95 Chevy 2500 HD ext cab long bed with a 4inch lift. I guess they tryed pulling it with a lifted cheokee, nissan xtera, and a full size bronco. No one could move it an inch. I get there take a quick look, pull out my big tool bag, get out two five ton tow straps, and 2 D-link shackles. Back up to the front of his truck, hook up nice and safely. Tell him to get in and give it a little gas while I pull. My truck didnt even flinch when I started pulling, less then a min and he was out. What three "suv's" and about 8 people couldnt do in about 4 hours, I did in less then 10 mins.

Likewise. Someone asked me what I pull when I got my SuperDuty, the only reply was, "Anything I want".

You know you're stuck when my truck, 2 jeeps, and 1 Toyota Tundra all hooked up at the same time can't pull you out

It was a Nissan Pathfinder. I still have no idea how they got it out. It sat for 3 days stuck in the mud.

I had a 200 series dynahoe once with a Detroit diesel. (Front end loader with backhoe. 18 ton machine.) I buried a full size John Deere tractor in mud. I hooked the Bucket on the Deere to the backhoe and I literally could have flung that tractor 50 ft if I wanted. The power of those machines is unbelievable. You would have to use one. They probably got a machine like that or a dozer to get it out.

Superduty is a real truck. Getting into an F150 feels like you're in a car! (Mushy handling/brakes/etc..)

Back in the 80's I had an 87 F150 that I had built up pretty nicely. Got stuck in a hidden mud hole out in the middle of a wash. 2-F150's, a landcruiser and a Scout could not even budge it. Luckily there was a gravel yard not too far and the guy drove a big Cat over, hooked up and pulled me out in idle. The power and the mass of those machines is amazing. And at times very helpful.

I like both the F250 and Excursion but at times I miss the great ride and smoothness of the 99 F150. I drove a workers 99 F150 the other day and reminded me of my old truck.

My wife went from a 95 5.8 Bronco and she really likes the Excursion.

my buddy has a 2002 F250 and i absolutely love it, we pulled our highschool homecoming float with it, and we mustve had a 2000lb trailer and about 30 kids on it, and we pulled it in idle....i was absolutely amazed.
