DOOR GLASS SIZE.

MY DOOR GLASS ON MY 54 F100 NEEDS TO BE REPLACED BUT I THINK THE WIDTH IS ABOUT 3/8 OF AN INCH SHORT. THE GLASS IN THE DOOR IS NOT THE ORIGINAL GLASS. DOES ANYONE KNOW THE RIGHT SIZE WIDTH AND LENGTH

Kelly, I just had some glass cut for my 54 and I haven't put it in yet so when I find my tape measure I'll give you the measurements.

Kelly, my door glass measures 16"5/8 wide by 16"3/4 long.

BOB, MY DOOR GLASS NOW MEASURES 181/4 WIDE BY 181/2 LONG
I THINK MY SHOULD BE 3/8 OF AN INCH WIDER BUT I AM NOT SURE

Kelly, do you have the felt in your doors? A few years ago I replaced all my glass in my 54 f100 with the grey tint and it fit perfect then a few months ago some one broke out my driver side door glass so I recently pulled the glass out and took it to the glass shop and let them use it as a templet.

BOB I HAVE FELT IN THE CHANNELS . MY GLASS IS 181/4 WIDE, BUT WHEN THE GLASS IS DOWN THE GLASS IS OUT OF THE CHANNEL ABOUT 3/8 OF AN INCH. MY DRIVERS GLASS IS STILL IN THE DOOR BUT I CAN MOVE IT SIDE TO SIDE ABOUT 3/8 OF AN INCH

Is the glass at the bottom in the rail secure with rubber because the glass shouldn't be able to move, it should be nice and snug, also check to see if your window regulator is in the slots in the rail, if it's bent even a little they will disenguage.

Mid-Fifty sells a "glass pattern kit" for about $25.00
