thats why you go into business...like me, double major in Logistical Chain Systems Management and Operational Chain Systems Management...deals with shipping, handling, and production of raw goods(to the factory), how to manage production using the raw goods and finish product(shipping to the consumer/retailer) I just have to do the basic math classes.
I dropped out of Calc. After 5 weeks of staring wide-eyed at the chinese scribbled on the board with my jaw dropped...I just had to get out of it. That's not math...that's torture.
I've done pretty bad in math class since the day they threw letters into the equations where they shouldn't be (other than simple x and y)
donjamer, I might have to start hittin you up for some DE lessons. This is my 2nd time in Matrix Theory & DE, and I'm still not gettin it. Calc III was hard, I & II weren't bad. And captain, wait until you start getting into your Materials classes...talk about booorrrrinng.

Sorry I won't be any help.. When I graduated I filed all that under useless stuff for everyday life and have forgotten most... It would take you to long to retrain me than learn it yourself..
Like I said you never use it in the real world... Thats what we have computers for..
I had to use the Calculus about a dozen times over the years after school. It was extremely painful and caused large volumes of expletive deleteds along with hair loss and smoke. You will still need to know how to do it to set up the computer calculations if it is not some simple application. Some ME's use it every day. It just depends upon which field you get into.
Nowadays I can't even add 2+2. I know I can't because my answer never agrees with the IRS and you know they are right...
