BW 1354 Electric

I am in the process of building a 99 Ranger 4x4. The 99 calls for a 1354 transfer case with electric shift. Is there any reason that I can't use a manual? Just hate to have something like a small electrical problem create a much bigger problem on the trail.

I don't see why you couldn't. The only thing I see is that you'll loose your shift on the fly capability.
