Thanks kbeefy, I did read your post and got your information. I guess I was looking for more opinions on it to verify it. By no means discredit your knowledge about it, just looking for more of same answers you gave me. Thanks again!

The 2001 Models built for August 2000 to March 2001 are the ones with a mechanical diode, all other models have a 34 element sprag from the factory. All Monster Boxes, irregardless of year are built with the 45 element sprag assembly. A mechanical diode is one form of a one way clutch. When the E4OD came out in 1989, it had a sprag one way clutch on the top of the direct drum, and it worked great for 12 years. So Ford in 2001 changed it to the mechanical diode, which didn't work great and after literally 8 days, they realized it was not going to work. The only problem was that all the tooling for the original sprag was destroyed already and it took Ford 6 months to get new machines to go back to the way that they always were. The units built during those 6 months are the diode units. The diode has a different clutch plate pattern, different direct drum and an integral race. To replace one with a sprag, you need to replace all these parts.
BTW will fix the trans even after the written warranty is up. I have never heard of him having an issue with it. Look at JTHarvey. Talk to him for first hand experience.
I'll tell you whatever you want to know. If I were you and was looking at spending $3900 for a Ford reman, there isn't a doubt in my mind that I would go with BTS first. Search for posts by me, with BTS in them. You'll find countless stories of very, very pleased customers with a BTS. I don't think you'll find any that have had a bad experience.
Brian for one, builds a tougher trans than what Ford could even think about. And unless you're pushing a lot of HP, I doubt you'll break it. But, if you do, he will fix it at no charge. He has told me, that when someone buys a BTS trans, it's the last time they'll have to pay for a trans. His "written" warranty is two years, yes, but knowing Brian, he'll stand behind it for as long as you own your truck. Oh, and I can't think of anything that will void his warranty, unlike Ford. Whether you're daily driving, drag racing, sled pulling, or even in tug-of-war contests, if it breaks, he'll fix it. Period.

Weren't you racing it or pulling in a contest when it broke? IIRC, he had it towed to his shop and fixed. Try doing that with a Ford Reman. If they even can find something to pin on you, warranty is off. What is the price for avoiding that sort of headache?
Yes, I was in Colorado drag racing it, with Brian watching in the stands when the stator blew in the TC. It was a fluke deal that the stator was bad from the beginning. 1/1000 parts will be bad from the get go, and I happend to have that one. So, another customer of BTS actually loaned a rollback to Brian, where he hauled my truck and me back from Colorado. He dropped the trans a soon as we got back to Lead Hill...after being on the road for the last 16-18 hours. He put in a new TC, new pump, and took the rest of it apart to make sure there was no damage as well as clean it out. Four hours later I was on my way home, and wasn't charged a dime. My whole trip home was only delayed about 12 hours. I don't think any Ford dealer is going to give you that kind of service.
