How detailed do you need it? Start to finish or the injector itself?

Found the manual online now I am looking for help locating specialty tools that will not take 5-6 days to get here.
Part #'s 303-755
303-625
303-1115
Or any other technique which does not require the use of these tools.

303-755 is the HPO line quick disconnect tool only for the 2003 models and will be of no use for you; you can change injectors on those trucks without it anyways, simply by removing the rail with the line still attached.
303-625 is for a 7.3 liter Powerstroke, so likewise you won't need it either.
303-1115 is designed to disconnect the electrical connector from the top of the rocker arm carrier; an 18mm socket wiggled back and forth on the top of the connector will do the same thing.

I believe it is a 19mm socket. The large end of a die-grinder wrench can be used to disconnect the oil line from the rail if need be. Make sure that you use a good quality T-40 to remove the injector hold down so as not to break the socket, because any broken metal pieces that fall into the valve train normally ends up in the oil pan before taking a very destructive trip through your high-pressure oil pump.

mine is the early o4 which uses these tools but i did find something similar that worked. Also the socket worked well to remove the electrical connector. The injector had a blown out lower o-ring causing the cylinder to fill with fuel during start-up and would run for a few minutes than flame out then would not even turn over because the cylinder would be full of fuel.

I normally get my "very gifted" apprentice to do most of my headgasket or engine jobs, so my 18mm stays locked away!
For some reason he likes to do big jobs like that... I think he needs more medication or something. But it all works out well, since we only have 3 diesel techs and enough work for atleast twice as many... and things get pretty messed up if one of us gets on a big job.
