The Edge has 5 preprogrammed modes with #2 being the tow mode. The 6.0 has the tow/haul function of the torqueshift. Will there be a problem using the tow (#2 Edge) with the tow/haul function enabled on the torque-shift? If anyone has any experience using the Edge with the torque-shift let me know. I'll be towing an 8k travel trailer on Thurs and want to make sure I don't harm the vehicle. Thanks!

I have the same programmer, and use the #2 setting with towing all the time. The tow/ haul button is for the transmission to lock the torqe converter longer, to keep things cooler. They serve 2 separate functions, the programmer make more HP, the transmission uses it better.

i pull a tundra on a flat bed on level 4 no problems and drive daily on level 5. as long as your not punching it and driving like you normally would you get the best mpg and no probs
