Has anyone stacked a Edge juice module with an evolution or Super chips programmer? I've heard certain combinations don't work so well. From your experience what would be the best combo with the Edge and not create a problem? By the way, I have a 2000 PSD. Thanks for your input!
I had the Edge Juice Platinum stacked with the Edge Evolution and had been very happy with it. I just sold my Edge Evolution to a buddy and am in the process of selling my Edge Platinum because I have new injectors and some other goodies coming and the Edge stuff just won't be able to keep up. I'm switching over to an SCT with custom tunes for my truck.
I used to run the Juice on level 6 and the Evo on level 2.
They frown on stacking, you could produce some really high egt's and damage your turbo. If you do try it, invest in guages.
Most should work, providing you use the lower power settings. I would look into more sophisticated programming instead though. SCT should produce the same power as stacking with out pushing the stock parts too far. I still prefer sniper, it can do some wild stuff.
Would I benefit more from just using a programmer such as the evo, bully dog,sct etc.? I guess I'm trying to gain a little more than what I have. Sometimes I think there's little difference between settings with just the module.
There is very little each will do. They increase boost and add fuel, air+fuel=power. I would think that a tuned fuel curve and boost settings coupled with a computer foolers fuel trims and the lies it will tell your tuned computer could very well create issues. The canned tunes will only do so much, if you want the most out of what you have you need a dyno tune. Everything else is playing around. If your going to play alot, you need a sophisticated tune, one with that can be tweaked just for you.
I haven't used SCT, but they seem to have a good following. I now sniper's special forces software. Any setup that allows you or a tuner to modify the tune will give more performance than canned tunes.
I'm in the same boat. I'm still looking at how much you could stack together. Few people talk about getting a chip and gauges. Though i'm still not crazy about gauges, I was kinda looking toward and Edge or Bully Dog because everything is on one small screen. But how much could you put together until you can't stack no more. But then when you upgrade will what you had before work or our you going to have to get something different. Tough decesion.
That's what I like about my sniper, but SCT should be upgradable. When I mod something on my truck, I fire up the special forces software and make a tune for it and 5 or six more to see what I like best.

So are you pretty happy with it? Is there anything that you don't like about it, or is anything on there that the others have and this doesen't .
