how to get task bar back to the bottom?

how to get task bar back to the bottom?

all of a sudden on my computer, the task bar is now along the right side of the screen, running vertically, i tried the right click and selected tile windows horizontally, but it don't work.

how can i make it go to the bottom? and why did it decide to do this by its self?

Click on an empty space in the task bar and drag it back down to the bottom

Then, so it doesn't happen again, right click on it and Check "Lock the taskbar"

unknown cause why it happened. First right click on the toolbar and make sure that the "lock the taskbar" is NOT checked. Left click on the taskbar and drag it back down to the bottom, or top or wherever you want it. After you get it to where you want it right click on it again and this time "lock the taskbar" That should prevent it from being moved again.

Is your computer a laptop? my wife keeps catching the Alt Gr key and the mouse pad at the same time that sends the task bar up one side as well.
