79 Bronco wont start

Sounds like a Neutral Safty switch. That happened to me, I pulled it in the garage, Restored it, got it close and i tryed to start it and nothing. I replaced the battery and the slenoid and nothing. My dads friend came over and said it could be the safty switch. We bypassed it and started rite up. Not the safest thing to do but it got it out of the garage. Good luck!

you can bypass it for testing but it should be hooked up for safety reasons.elongating the holes is if the shifter is in park and it won't start but you wiggle the shifter or hold it up and it starts it needs to be adjusted.
