Adding Keyless Entry

I own a 06 F-150 sc/xlt and was wondering... Is it possible to add keyless entry on my truck? Is it unreasonably costly? Thanks Fellas!!!

If you have power locks now, it should have had it. If not..... I would say check with a local alarm installer and see what they offer.
I think there has been a thread or two on this. Did you try the "search" feature at the top of the page?

And Welcome to the board!

I would simply look into aftermarket alarm systems.. As long as you have power locks from the factory, which I'm sure you do, it will be relatively cheap.

I would actually like to install a ford keyless. This would be nice if I ever lost my keys or locked them inside I could at least get in my truck

Such has happened to me before (due to my ex who's somewhat slow lol) and I called AAA to jimmy the door. Once open, I turned the alarm off.

Also, keep in mind an aftermarket alarm will save you money on insurance. Simply call your insurance company and ask how much you will save with an aftermarket alarm. I believe it ranges from 5-15%.

you can add a keyless entry kit, Ford has one that is really cool if you already have power door locks.

If you have Factory Power Door Locks I would go with The FOrd Module.

If you do not 100$ plus about 3 hours of work will have you a nice 2 door remote power lock set up.

I have an aftermarket power lock set up (DEI, which is Viper). Will this wireless keypad work with my unit?

I read all that I could and nothing from Ford I've read covered working with aftermarket keyless entry. So at this time I would say no.
