Ordering a Truck?
What does a dealer make off the sale if you order your truck and use the X-plan?
Thanks

The usual dealer commission on an F250 is about $800.
Most of the time you will get the rebate that is applicable at the time of delivery. I recently ordered a truck that had a rate guarantee from Ford, but we did not know it was there until after the truck arrived and we pulled the VINCENT.
You will have to order a 2003. The last day to order a 2002 was May 10. Job 1 for the 2003 Superduties is July 15, there is no pricing available, but there are ordering guides.
Good Luck.
How could I find out about the differences in the 02 and 03, such as add-ons and deletions, and urgrades/improvements?
The major changes are- FX4 off-road package, Sonic Blue replaces Island Blue, XLT Sport Package (monochromatic paint like the BFT) available in Sonic Blue, Dark Shadow Grey, Black, White and Red in both the Supercab and Crewcab with auto only (all engines). Black added to available colors for DRW Shortbox. Camper pkg now compatible with the Snowplow pkg.
There will be a 2003.25 model available to order Nov. 4. At that time the 6.0 Diesel, 5-speed auto and King Ranch will be available.
Job One indicates the date that production starts for a specific vehicle or option.
