I was told by my machinist, who's specialty is building racing engines, that he has never had a problem with them. That is what I used in my non-racing 351W with some goodies added to it. He did say to stay away from Keith Black pistons. He's had trouble with them as did others that he associates with. Hopefully that helps a little.

The KBs are hypereutectic. I raced with a guy who kept burning holes in them in his 351W powered Late Model stocker. I used TRW Forged pistons in my 302 and had no problems at all, running 12:1 at 7200 RPM all night long.
