Disk brake conversion sorce?

Maybe what you really need is OEM Factory Service Manual with illustrations, copied onto a CD so you can print out operations, pictures with correct names & Isometric drawings of assembly/ disassembly for whatever you want to tinker
with. At least that way you can be learning correct methhods & nomenclature as you learn your trucks inner secrets.
In addition when we "know it alls" get to talking shop you'll know what we are saying as well as what we are talking about, doncha see?
I do not know the asking price but if it's at all under a "C" Note, seems it's worth it to me. It could be worth it for 1 or 2 mistakes it prevents from being made. . . . Huh? I do believe they sell then here on FTE, as a Matter of Fact. . . .
Just my $.02 here didn't mean to hijack this thread, but Ol' John got a better grip on these great trucks than he wants to give himself credit for, but only 'cause he has learned what they are about. Bottom line is we all started at our own beginning point at one time. The right instruction manuals make it easy for sure.

Having a manual on disc is a plus and I recommend owning one. Purchase one and you can become a tenderfoot dummy.
John da picker was working on a complete set of manuals on disc, maybe he can help.
