cruise control
cruise control on my 2001 ranger edge doesn't work how do i get the air bag off to check switch need wiring diagrams and location of the control unit any help would be appreciated

You may find the electrical info your looking for on AutoZones web site repair section, just enter your vehicles particulars.
Look in the "Tech Info" section, atop this forum, on how to disarm the air bag!!!!
What troubleshooting have you done that leads you to believe the problem is in the steering wheel switches?????
Are you having other problems too, like maybe the speedo acting up, or a flashing ABS light, or the auto tranny not shifting right, if so, perhaps it's the speed sensor, located atop the rear defferential, it's a common cruise control problem point.
If it just doesn't engage, of course it goes without saying, check it's fuse!!!! lol
Anyway give us some clues as to why you feel it's time to tear into the steering wheel, there may be other things to check first.
