OK here it is!!

I have a 97 F-250 7.3 4x4, It has a 4" exhaust, cold air intake, and a Dfuser steroid module. I would like to get a programmer but which one? Also propane injection, and a air lift kit does anyone have some advice I can use???

I keep seeing "Tony Wildman" when it comes to programmers. How is his stuff different from the Edge stuff and what does it cost?

tony wildman one of the best programmers out there. lots and lots of recearch and development on ONLY powerstrokes. i had him do the programming on my trucks and its alot better than the mass mfg programming like edge cause all he does is ONE truck.

air bag lift kit. hmmm kelderman does good work. i have linked and bagged mine on both ends used cromo bars 2" dom with jonnyjoints on both ends from currie enterprizes and firestone reverse sleeve bags. got about 100hrs and a few grand into it but will never drive another truck with steel springs again. both axles are parellel 4 link with panhards, full ride control with incab controls, its alot of work. but worth it all.

injectors. industrial injection is the only one. there the most reliable and acccurate.
ive got mild set in my rig right now but am going to go back to 530's in the new motor.

injectors require supporting mods like intercooling (which im gonna be making pipe kits for) larger fuel systems, larger exhaust, intake, custom programming like tony's, gauges, built trannys or clutches........

To put that turbo on ya got to have the up-pipes and collector, the intakes off the heads, and the pedistol to go with it. Then, because your fuel filter housing won't fit...you'll have to relocate or change that. Also if your not intercooled, you'll have to make a y-pipe to go from the turbo to the intakes. Alot of work for not alot of gain. The stock turbo will be fine up to around 400 hp.

[QUOTE= intercooling (which im gonna be making pipe kits for[/QUOTE]

This is going to be true?? Oh thank you thank you!!!

I raced a buddy with a 06 duramax with all my mods and kept up with him!! But I think after the intercooler I'm gonna call it quits, was thinking that and a H2E turbo and a bigger HPOP but all I wanted it to do is shock someone that thought they could just run over me with my 9 (almost 10) year old truck.

WOW those LBZ duramax trucks are quick all stock. With your stage 1's are your still running your stock hpop? I remember barebackjake saying that you will need to get a different fuel filter setup with his pipes. But like you I would like to see how they look. let us know barebackjake

upgrading to the superduty turbo will get you faster spooling. it also gets you the pedistal setup to use any superduty turbo.

if you were to do the work the van turbo is a great upgrade, faster spooling more air.

yeah and he had a chip, exhaust (5" stacks) and air intake. I won't lie, he thought he'd take me and he put it to it. Now his truck is also jacked up with 38" tires, think it couldn't grab traction (that what he was saying) but when he got out he was very impressed.

yeah the van turbo is close but the 1.0ar exhaust and flows more air, our turbo can work to 400 its just not gonna last long since its a ton of drive pressure and it will destroy thrust bearings.

turbos can be finiky it takes the right amount of air and fuel to get something that will be reliable and fast with the right turbo.
