are frames the same?
there is a 90's plow bracket for sale and i have an 82 but from what i was told early plow kits where a braket and you had to make it fit the frame. i know 80 thru 96 shared a lot of suspension paqrts and i was wondering if they ever changed the frame size or shape or not?

I know there is a difference in the front frame rails between my 82 F100 and my 95 F150 along with my dads 92 F150. The 95 and 92 both have front crumple zones in the frame. They are sort of pre bent to allow them to collapse in the event of a front end collision. My 82 has the front frame rails go all the way to the bumper. So there is differences. Not sure about the 87-91 trucks.

well i know for a fact.. 80-86 have the rounded style front frame horns... and the 87-89 are the same i believe.. could be wrong.. cuz i know my 87 is the same as my 84... but as far as after 89 i think there squared.. and prebent.. fords "collaspable front end"... for air bags.... hope that helps
