So this may be a dum question but I am curious what year plow frames will fit my 88 f250? Perferably with out doing any modifications.

No, The 92+ plow frames are different, the frames on the trucks are different, you need a frame from 80-91, just put a Meyer setup on my 88 Bronco. My 95 F350 has a defferent frame.

This is what you need.
Meyers Electro Touch Ford Plow Frame Plow mount:eBay Motors (item 300384826048 end time Jan-10-10 18:38:32 PST)

Another good pic.
MEYER #17092 CLASSIC PLOW MOUNT 87-91FORD F250 & F350 :eBay Motors (item 390071038201 end time Jan-14-10 18:16:38 PST)

THIS IS WHAT YOU DO NOT WANT

but the frames are different enough that the 2 kits are not interchangeable without major modification.

The front frame sections arnt the same. On the 91 down the frame is a c channel in the front, not boxed. The 92+ are boxed in the front.

No I didnt make either frames, there both Meyer setups. The 1 came on my 95 F350, and the one I just put on my bronco last week.

what is the difference between the 85 bronco frame and the 87, can i get a 87 meyers frame to adapt to a 85 frame, and how hard will it be? thanks

80-91 frames are the same, so that should be a direct swap with no modification needed.
