some good deals

i got my supercharger on ebay for $1000 used, oh by the way here is a good one going on ebay, shes right around the thousand dollar mark. remember when you install a sc you have to use supreme fuel, i used it before anyway.
the total cost for me was 1,000 plus 71 s/h, about 100 for transgo shift reprograming kit about 80 worth of royal purple and about 5 hours knuckle bustin eatin tranny fluid rip roaring fun i got her all put together, and i love it even better the wife loves it too.

I've used K&N filters in my Expy (past and present) and had the K&N FIPK Gen II CAI in my '01. Never saw any appreciable change in milage, just a cool sound and a bit better throttle response on cold days. If I ever saw my mileage readout go from 12.5 to 14.5 I'd be singing the praises of these filters in all my posts.

Thanks for the input!!!

What was the exact kit you used on your trans?? And what lead you to that?? Is it THAT necessary? Why not just snap up the trans with a tune??

That kit looks pretty simple man...AND VERY TEMPTING!!!haha

No need to get a bigger fuel pump and injectors?? What about a dyno tune for timing and A/F??? Have you considered running a SNOW KIT "Methanol Injection" to get a lil more boost?? It will cool the intake charge and enable you to run another pound or two of boost without intercooling.

Thanks again,

Brad

Nada, zero, zilch. But I'm an aggressive driver. In Houston you gotta be; it's either kill or be killed.

i used the transgo tugger shiftkit for the 4r100 tranny. You might have a 4r70w, but i would still recommend using a transgo kit not b&m. the reason put the shift reprograming kit in was to strengthen the tranny, i am one of those guys who prepares for the worst, and adding on a lot of hp at one time could definatly shorten the life of a transmission, esspecially the 4r70w.
now for the injectors, no you dont need to, this is a bolt on kit no other mods needed, i just recommend the shift kit, you dont want to have to pay 1-2k later on down the road for a new tranny. if you want to you can add a high flow fuelpump and 42 lb injectors thats one of my next projects.
also later on i am going to fab up an intercooler setup for the supercharger
