Im So n So on the front grille and headlights. But heres an idear of how to make it look better. Im a young punk, and if ford was lookin to get at the market for the younger generation and maby even the older this is what i would do. Get rid of the big gap on the top of the grille. Space it evenly. And also make alot more of the colored front ends like the older one. And also Smoked out front headlights, or even black light covers. Dark blue with all these options would be awesome. Also the windows tinted darker, and the side vent real and a big INTERNATIONAL 6.4 TWIN TURBO emblem in chrome. I would Run out and buy one tomorrow if i had the money. I do like the lo pro tires on that truck. Makes it look like the boss of the road.

Smoked or blacked out headlights/taillights? Talk about stuck in the 80s and 90s! You only see guys with hairy chests sporting shirts half-buttoned and a big gold necklace in Camaro's driving with blacked out lights (and a 50/50 chance they're sporting a mullet as well!)
Sorry man, couldn't help it. I read that and thought isolated small town.
Also, a thing to note: Ford's not aiming for the younger crowd. Younger guys generally can't afford brand new $40,000 - $50,000 trucks.
If they realy wanted to win me over for a new vehicle they bring back the 300-6/4sp drive train. And yeah I know I'm stuck in the past but can you realy improve upon perfection?
Smoked out head lights stuck in the 70's and 80's??? Naa thats hot now. Most people are going for the big rim look, Tinted windows, smoked out head lights and tail lights, and chrome door handles. Already shows that ford is starting to relize it look at the dual rear wheels. Low pro tires im guessing the rims on the back are at least 20's. So its not from the 70's and 80's. Your probably thinkin of the t top camaros black with the orange and yellow stripes down the sides. Sorry lol.
the side vents are stupid looking, that would be the first thing i would get rid of if i bought one. the "super duty" all over the place is dumb, the engine sounds nice but whew! let me know the price when something breaks! my guess we will see alot of trade-ins when approaching 100k miles.
but really the only thing i don't like is the lights, other than that, its seems the same to me, which is what i like.
and yes, smoked lights are the 80's, i think some small towns in missouri still use them along with rear window louvers.

Exactly. If they are hot today why haven't they been featured at SEMA for the past 5 years? You'd be hard-pressed to find a single company featuring them there.
Thanks for sticking up for the younger gen! What do you think looks better the regular xlt superduty or the harley? I dont even like harleys but that truck is awesome. With the smoked out head lights and the black grille with the chrome bars. To me the best looking truck.
im starting to like it alot....i had a 1997 f150 and i liked the body style and minor redesigns alot better after a few years like the 2001 and on...so im thinking ill keep my 06 for a while and think about trading it in after they do a few things like eliminate the steps and bed extender and change a few things which im sure they will...but all and all this is a awesome truck and we will see how it goes once it surfaces..A++++ goes to ford on this one...i figure by the time im 25 i should have one!
