towing and brake controller

do the excusrions with the ford tow package come with their own internal brake controller or should i go with an aftermarket one?

there is no brake controller in the ex you should have a pigtail in a bag with the adaptor ( the adaptor allows you to connect a 4 pin to the round factory input)
there is a forum on towing under mis. they have a world of info.
