I'm having trouble finding a brake controller for a 1991 F250, 460, 4x4, ABS. Evidently there is something special about the wiring configuration for that year.
Anyone have some ideas or thoughts? It's possible that the ABS is not working. The warning light is on; but, Ford can find nothing wrong with it.
I've been looking into this also for different reasons. The Tekonsha viking (or something like that) controller has specific instructions for Ford 89 to 92 ABS. It says to tap off the loom in the steering column.
I did this for my 87 F 350 and everything on the trailer works well. Except that my emergency flashers apply the trailer brakes. There's a diode to install but Tekonsha says nothing about it and I need to look at where to tap again.
