superchips

i have a 1997 psd, with a 4in exhaust, intake, and a superchip, recently it has started to surge, i leave my foot alone and it surges up and down in the rpm range, it like the program is cutting in and out, like stock to perf, to stock again very fast and frequently, im stumped with this, ive been thinkin something with the computer has gone awry, ive tryed clearing the program off and driving it stock and then reloading it and it still does it,
please help

So it doesn't do it when the program is not loaded?

With programmers the throttle is VERY touchy. But you are saying it surges? Can you pull any codes with your superchip?

yeah it doesnt do it when the program is not loaded on, i think i found the problem tho, there was a disconnected wire to the turbo waste gate "area" the plastic clip broke off and it feel apart i put it back together and it hasnt done it since thanks tho,

No wastegates on the 94-97's, but I think you are talking about the ebpv (exhaust backpressure valve). If it was disconnected then it shouldnt have opened or closed "surged".

Mine does this also, but very intermittantly. Doesn't matter what program is installed. I figure its the CPS, which will be changed out after it dies.
