'89 what motor

Looking at an '89 f250 4wd with 127K, before I call is that the 7.3 or 6.9...I have a 6.0L and my dad's 1990 is 7.3 but wasn't sure on the 1989.

6.9 till 87, 7.3 after 88. so if it is the original engine, it will be a 7.3.

yup, should be the 7.3l. it has its ups and downs. Thinner walls,which leads to cavitation, but you probably knew that already.
