Thank-you to all the people who were willing to help out with my recent travels and break-down issues.
Everything is back in running shape with my truck.
Just an update, the transmission was fine, but the transfer case wasn't. I had it rebuilt and all is good. At least with the truck and not my checkbook. HA HA
Once again thank-you for all the wonderful support all offered me over the past month, whether you offered to fedex me parts or just information that helped me figure out the problem. This is a wonderful forum with many great people who are concerned for the well being of the fellow users and thier trucks.

I thought you had an injector issue? I was traveling and didnt see the end result of your posts. I agree with this forum, many have helped me off the side of the road. Have you seen the joint venture on the members 911 program? And yes my episodes of break down are listed. ha ha

Yes a transfer case is a lot less expensive than a transmission!
I had the same problem 100 miles from home last year and had to pay more for the tow than I did for the parts to fix the transfer case.
