general question
well i dont know much about y-blocks but i stumbled across a couple at a local scrap yard, dont really know what they are cubic inch wise, but the cylinders and stuff look pretty saveable, one has heads one doesnt, what are y-blocks worth, i know they are pretty hard to come by, but then again not alot of people want em

The 312 block and cranks are the most sought-after. The late 50's 292 are actually better. Look for the casting numbers. Try www.ford-y-block.com for more info. I'd be looking for B9AE and ECZ-C ECZ-A EDB blocks. ECZ-G, and 113 heads, truck rods, steel cranks, and the ultimate prize, rams horns exhaust manifolds.
Cruiso-matic flywheels 59-62, and bellhousings are good. Ford-o-matic truck bellhousings are needed. 11" flywheels. ECZ-B intake manifolds.
