62 Door Hinge problems

The door hinge pin on my 62 sheared off! Now what? I can salvage the hinge assy by drilling out the upper and lower parts of the hinge pin. However, The thick metal part that attaches to the door is going to be a problem. I beat on it until I bent two punches--it is stuck and will not budge. I can't find a complete assy anywhere. Any ideas on getting the old stuck and sheared pin out?

Heat it up with a porpane torch then melt some wax on it. The wax will wick into the gaps and help ease it out by acting like a lubricant. You might have to do this a few times.

Hinges are plentiful (used) and if you post a WTB in the classifieds, someone will be along to sell you one.
