69 F100 brake question
I have master cylinder removed, wheel cylinders removed, three rubber lines removed. All will be replaced with new parts. The question is, will it hurt anything to blow out the steel lines with compressed air and solvent to remove any debris before I reassemble the system. Thanks, Larry

I my only concern would be that the solvent was thoroughly flushed and the brake system was re-assembled and filled quickly to prevent any contamination.
Personally, when doing brake work, I just run new fluid into the system while bleeding the brakes. Drain the old stuff out untill you get clean fluid from all the lines.

I flush with alcohol then blast with Argon gas from the Tig welder, to use air from an air compressor you will introduce moisture into the system. When completly new I would use silicone brake fluid, no more rusted and leaking wheel cylinders just flush once every 5 years.
