Mineral gray.

But it was called Arizona Beige on the Crown Victorias.

Arizona Beige?

What the hell are they smoking over at ford?

That means that I can look at the Arizona Beige ones too when I look to buy.

Good to know. Are you reasonably sure about this one?

Thanks a lot

George

When I purchased my X, they had the windows limo tinted... not sure the percentage... at night you can barely see anything out of the back windows or any of the rear windows. In day light with the sun behind you, you can barely see into my truck from the out side... unless you look at the front windows or windshield... I LOVE IT! It is illegal here in Illinois to have your front two windows with any tint.. I recevied 2 tickets in only 1 months, so I now have no tint on the front two windows! but the backs are still really dark...

It's gotta be cool looking but not very practical for driving is it?

I mean, can you even see out to back up?

Its pretty hard at night to see out the back windows! But day time, its all good. And what really stinks is my 2000 Lmt X doesn't have the rear parking sensors, so I have to be very careful! But the tint is nice because I could leave my tools in the back and not worry that someone can see them ya know?

I don't use the back or side windows to back up in anything I drive. I use the mirrors on the door.

But, in all honesty, I don't really back up that much anywhere. The only backing I do on a daily basis is from the garage to the public pavement.

Same here.... when I back up, I use the mirrors. But there is that once in a while when I glance through the rear window..... the only backing I do is into my driveway or out of a parking spot...

[QUOTE=nordy racer]out here in Cali, you can not have any tint on any windows... but there are so many cars tinted that cops don't even mess with you..

I wish!!! I didn't even get 3 weeks out of my $100 tint job before I got pulled over. I went one shade LIGHTER than the factory rears on my front windows and still got nailed.

I got used to my double limo tints, I mainly use the side mirrors to backup and I backup everywhere as I'm from the Islands, we reverse everywhere, even at high speeds. LOL.

I have the same 5% Limo tint on all rear windows and 35% on fronts.. Backing out of a driveway at night, without steetlights, can be a small challenge. I often roll down pass. side rear window to verify no people or pets are near...
On the highway at night the tinting is great since you prevent alot of glare from headlights behind and to the side of you.. It also looks great against an all white vehicle like mine..

On another note.. I dont let my 3 teenagers drive my "X" for about 100 reasons.. one of them is that with all that space in back and all that tint.. well.. you know how teenagers are

That is not true about California. You have to leave the front windows and windshield light but the rest you can darken all you want. I did and love it. I go the beach and chenge in the back and no one can see in.
