Would that be the same galaxy that had a funny pedal to the right of the accelerator pedal? You only used it every once in a while. Usually when you wanted to go somewhere in your old truck.
i just upgraded my sealed beam headlights to Hella erou spec 200mm H4 headlights...

I've been considering putting those (or similar) on my Rabbit. My only concern is getting a quick replacement for the housing if one gets damaged. I've got the Silverstar sealed beams on it right now, even these make a dramatic difference. Not just from the increased lumens, but they actually have a much different lens (more performance oriented) than a standard sealed beam. Will probably get the Xtravison replacement next time for ease of replacement and better wet weather performance.
Actually, on second thought I see no reason I couldn't just replace a Hella with a standard sealed beam for a while, should the need arise. Good to hear they work well.
They use an H4 bulb, correct? Pretty sure that H4 and the sealed beams use the same connections, that will help. You didn't have to mess with the wiring right?
make sure to do relays/wiring upgrades when using high watt bulbs. Ive have seen a few vehicles that have let the smoke out of the wiring system, especially if you have (god forbid) 99 & up gm truck.
