I'm planning on replacing the lower ball joints on my 2001 EB Exp. Does any one know if the OTC 7249 tool kit have the right sizes for the job? Or what size diameter adapter I need to press out the lower ball joint?
I use these with my shop press. Never had much luck with the C-clamp press and ball joints. But, if you can get a C-clamp press to work, then it definitely saves some work since you won't have to remove the lower control arm.
Advance and Autozone have tool loaner programs, so you might be able to borrow what you need if you don't want to invest in your own tools.
