My previous post was deleted since it sounded like a ad. I purchased a 66 F350 a few months ago and haven't done much with the truck since I got it home. I found a set of 66 manuals on auction and would really like a manual for the 64 that I picked up this past Monday. If anyone has a need for the 66 manuals, and knows where I can find a 64 manual (I don't want to pay for another one since the 66 cost so much to start) I'd really appreciate it.
I don't think we should display this info here, Email me and we can discuss particulars, All I really want is a 64 manual.

Krosati,
You very well may have to sell your '66 manual(s) and use the cash for a '64 manual. Ken sells them here, or you can get them on Ebay as well...there is a reprinted one for auction on Ebay right now....
Gene, I was refering to a trade with someone for a 64 manual. I would rather trade a set worth $75 than spend another $50 for a book I need. In this hobby, every penny saved is a penny put into the truck.
If you'd like to see my truck up close & personal, I'll be in that general area this weekend! Our club is going out to Wasington on the brazos this weekend. How long we'll be out there I have no idea, I'll find out a little more info tomorrow night. Give me a shout.

Hotrod, I read your post friday at work but couldn't post (work rules) I was planning to go after reading your email. Wife made other plans for me. I had to re grade my backyard this weekend instead. Not as much fun as looking at cool trucks but I did it anyway
Ouch, I know that must have disappointed you greatly. Don't worry though, all of the vehicles that went (classics that is) were mostly FORDS! I didn't realize it until we had made it to Navasota. In our line we had a 1963 Galaxie convertible, an early Ford pickup (hot rodded), My truck, a ****** wagon (I guess that's what it was), a 1965-66 T-bird, and a 56 T-bird.
It was great, you couldn't imagine the amount of looks we got going up there. I was actually surprised my truck made it from Crosby, Tx to Washington on the brazos on (get this) 1/2 a tank of gas! I figure with the 390 that's not bad.

Sounds like a good time was had by all!
I guess I'll have to make up for the missed weekend with the truck by spending some money on it. I ordered the Pertronix electronic ignition Monday. I should have it in on Wednesday.
Anybody have any negative coments on this upgrade? I'd like to hear themsince all I've heard are good tings so far.
