Technician. I am retired, mostly worked on big bore stuff. Always looking for new info, love a good problem. DALEDIESEL SOCAL. ASE MASTER TECH MEDIUM/HEAVY TRUCK
I also would like to thank the techs who frequent this site and help us out. I have had some problems with my 6.0 and have established a very awesome working relationship with my service dept and diesel techs and have gained an appreciation for what they do. They also realize that some of us are quite knowledgeable about what we own and are sometimes impressed when a guy shows up, has researched a particular problem, and can help with a good description of whats wrong largely in part to information exchange on these forums. Its kind of cool to have guys as passionate about fixing and working on the trucks as we are about owning them - none of us would be on here if we weren't!
Sir, whether it be automotive, aircraft, or pastry chef, walk in to work with a smile on your face, and work towards being the best in your field. If practicing this, every night you will go to bed knowing you have given it your all, and you will sleep better for it.
IMHO, I believe that the follow is a canonical truth.
God designed work to help you feel good about yourself—so that you could share your unique talents with others, and form a balanced community, as well as enjoy the fruits of labor well-done.
It seems that you have an intimate understanding of this, and I thank you!
Certainly a thread worthy of resurrection, back in the day when Keith did things in 'moderation'. I haven't seen a few of the Techs post on here in awhile. It's amazing to me that they take the time to respond to questions and help out others after working on these vehicles all week long.
Thanks again Certified 6.0 Technicians! I rep ya when the system let's me.
Unfortunately, I think you are to BTH. Just like in your bays / work areas...sometimes it takes a pretty thick skin to do what you boys do. Even more so... when you do it for free.
Hopefully, 18vtx00, will lend a hand from time to time.

Hey guys, thankyou for all of your help ! Now I have a problem...I live in the North Wales/Lansdale, PA area and recently lost my tech at Yocum Ford. Does anybody have the name of a good tech & dealership that is relatively close to me? THANKYOU.
