Check Fuel pressure.
Change oil & filter, fuel filter is a good place to start.
Clean the fuel return screen in the filter housing.
Remove filter cover and filter.
Detach pressure regulator from filter housing.
Check for clogged fuel return screen.
Recheck fuel pressure.
Remove the FPR (Fuel Pressure Regulator)(#9B249 above) left side (drivers) of the fuel filter housing (two bolts). Screen is in the part that goes into the fuel filter housing. Clean it with a Q-tip and brake cleaner. Let it dry completely before re-intsalling. Also #9236 can be cleaned. Held in by a snap ring on the bottom. ****CAUTION = FPR is a cast part, DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN ANY COMPONENT AS FPR CAN BE BROKEN EASILY*****
Actually I switched back to running B20 and now it runs consistent.
I changed the filter about 1K miles ago but didn't check the filter screen.
Does it take long to clean it?
