I need some advice on what to do to my truck. I am looking at getting about $1000 and I am looking to get the most performance for it. I have a 01 F350, 7.3 PSD, 4x4, auto transmission. It has a K&N filter, Superchips programmer, 33 16.5 tires. Things I am looking at are: exhaust; turbo; injectors; who knows what else. Also looking at a valve body kit for the transmission. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Also, I do use my truck for offroad.

K & N doesnt filter very well for these trucks they can dust a tubo very efficiently try a 6637 or an AIS system. Get Gauges EGT, Boost, Trans Temp. For the Tranny cant beat a BTS (www.brianstruckshop.com) MBRP makes real nice exhaust systems. Tubo and injectors dependson how wild you want to go.
stock replacement injectors are well over $1200 a set to replace, so you're screwed there. International had to be difficult and put a HEUI injection system on the 444, so it costs about 300%+ more to modify the internals such as the fuel system.
if your truck is stock other than that, you can search (even using my name as specifics, ive posted on this topic it seems like every week or so) for a few basic terms such as 4" or 5" exhaust, "Kwik" filter intake, Ford AIS intake, CCV mod, Regulated return fuel system, Van turbo/1.15 turbo, BTS valve body, DP tuner/Jody Tipton chip.
Kris you and I both forgot to say buy gauges first!
If you don't know the vital signs of your engine and trans when you start adding more fuel and air your lookin for trouble!
