292 Trans.
I was wondering if a 5 speed trans. from a 292 will bolt up to my 226 6-cyl. I can get a trans now relatively cheap, but not to sure if they will change out and what kind of trouble it would be, thanks!!!!!

Do you mean the 226 Flathead/L-6 or the 223 Inline/I-6.
Either way, you'll have to have a specific bellhousing for which ever 6 you have, in order for it to mount properly to the engine.
