91 E350 7.5L E4OD wont downshift
My RV won't downshift out of O/D no matter how far the gas pedal
is pressed to the floor. It will downshift from 3rd to 2nd though.
I have to manually turn off the O/D to get it back into third.
This is really annoying when driving in hilly country. I'd like it to
pop out of O/D when climbing and go back on descents or flat stretches.
Besides that, it seems to be really hard on the trans to jump out of O/D
while at full throttle. I usually let the throttle back to about 25% before
hitting the button.
Is this normal behavior?
My 95 Tacoma goes between OD and 3rd seamlessly in contrast.
