in dash 6 disk changer

I have searched high and low and cannot find the answer! My question is this, will a in dash 6 disc changer from a 2000 F-150 " plug and play " into my 1998 econoline?

It should, however, be aware that the changer is "square" and takes up more room. Regular cassette and CD units taper in the back (sort of "wedge" shaped). In some cars the changer hits the defroster duct. Shouldn't be a problem for your van but something to be aware of.
