David, Can't you use the word Delco instead of chevy, you are close to having some of your keyboard keys removed.

David, it's funny how you can say Chrysler, Toyota, Jeep, or even Rambler and nobody will say a word, but mention Chevy and people treat you like you just called their wife that other "C" word. I do have a CHEVY one wire alternator on my 61 and it works great. The home made brackets look crappy though. It's a very simple instal just get the alt wiring from a donor car and copy it. Do believe you are mellowing out a bit. Been going to try that "Delco" swap myself. If you get to it before I do, let me know how it works. Remember, you can always rattle it Ford Blue. I would put in one of those smilies but never figured out how!
