My 62 has A/C?
I think the 62 F350 I just bought has A/C. I wasn't familar with under-dashes so I figured it was just the vent stuff like my 70. Then I noticed it had an A/C coil looking thing on the right side. This led me to notice that I have two switches one for fan and one for air. It is shaped like a flattend backwards D, does this sound like dealer installed A/C. It isn't cooling, any idea's on how it works or how to fix it.

Does anyone know how to UN-post a message. If so email quickly. Boy do I feel stupid. No I definately don't have A/C, noticed that the air button is for outside air, and realized the coil looking thing is the heat exchanger. Apparently the only thing going cold is my brain. Would still be interested in any info on factory air however I will need the whole thing. I live in Charleston, SC at times and it would be nice to have in one of my trucks.

No need to be embarrassed Tom, I once spent half a day trying to get the drums off a Dana 60 before I found the gland nut inside the hub.
Don’t know of a way to un-post a message but you could always edit it with something like “have a nice day”.
