A1 reman pump list for 199.45, delco pump is 421.82 for 2wd, I can't get a price on motorcraft this late in the evening.
Figure something like 2-6 hours labor, shops run from $45-85 an hour and add atleast $50 for coolant/seals, minor incidentals. I wouldn't expect a shop to cust you loose for any less than $500, more like $700.
got a reman for $110.00 at napa. did it a weak or so ago pretty straight foward RR except fo getting the fan/clutch off and back on. i clamped a C-clamp to the top of the waterpump pulley than used a pipe wrench to get it off. when the C-camp contacted the housing for the hearter hose outlet it held it in place to get the fan/clutch bolt lose, when putting it back there is not much room to work (the fan shroud and fan have to come out and go back in together) you have to get the threads lined up just right for it to grab..be patient it may take some time
If you do decide to do the job yourself remember not to overtighten the bolts they only need to be torqued to 17 ft lbs or so.
I think that there is a thread on the waterpump in the readfirst/common mod sticky on the main page
