Smile Long bed-Short Bed

What is the difference between the long-bed and short bed in dimensions.
I have a learning curve.

First, welcome to the site!
Hope you enjoy it

A shortbed is 6 & 3/4', a long bed is 8'

Been looking for a 350 and found a nice one but it is a long bed. My wife has concerns about driving a long bed around town and especially getting the truck in the parking garage at work. Can anyone share their experience between the two sizes when hooked to a crew cab? It does make for a long truck. Thanks.

I've had both, With my current being a Long bed, either of em are long, the extra 1 1/2 feet doesn't make a difference. A am able to park in "van accessible" parking garages.

I do really like the larger fuel tank on the long bed
