Red face Brake Woes

As if my window problem wasn't enough, last night my brake line finally gave out. After losing brakes, I inspected the lines only to find them severly rusted (one of which was completely through).

Now the question: From the master cylinder the brake line is coiled. Is this required (in other words do I have to go to the dealer to buy the new lines or can I get straight lines from an auto parts store and run them straight)?

Also, is there anything particular I need to do to bleed the system with regard to the anti-lock brakes?

Thanks in advance.

Some brake lines are coiled so they can move a bit more than a straight one.
I'd buy the same length as the original and coil it yourself, around a can or something.
Bleeding the brakes on these is the same as a normal vehicle.
