got a problem towing?
For those in CA I went through 5N to 46E top the 101N. The 46 has a couple good grades (not as long as the Vine but just as much of a grade). The Hyperpac is set on stage 3.
Under normal driving (no load) oil, water, and tranny temps are as follows (as recorded by the Hyperpac)
195-200
190-195
150-155
On this trip with the trailer and after the grades they were
220 (no grade towing was at 205)
195-200
160-170
The fan kicking on was never an issue this trip. Gas mileage was also better at around 11-12. This is with my normal driving style (read "get outta da way"). I also felt I had much better throttle response and power to spare (probably the Hyperpac). I actually peeled out at a stop light with the trailer attached.

Thanks to all who responded to the original post...you guys saved me from a time consuming visit to the dealer.
