yea your probably right about finding out what parts would need replacin'. since my wife will be driving it too with our 6 kids (5 girls, 1 boy). she might get a little upset if i leave it the way it is. plus the kids might not enjoy the ride to much either. hehe

I have a torker 2 manifold with a edelbrock 600cfm carb and used the plate that came with the manifold, then the edelbrock ford adapter plate, then the stock throttle bracket to hold the throttle and cruise cables, then thanks to this sight used the holly kickdown extension bracket. Everything works great, no sticking or anything just a lot of homework to find the combonation.
