e4od probs, surprizing,huh?
ok, first of all thank you for the great forums.
Here it goes;
1990 Eddie Bauer,351w,2in body,35 x 12 tires.
Rebuilt lower end when I replaced trans.
new oil pump,distr,coil,wires,plugs,injectors,cap,module,& ecu.
I bought a junkyard e4od and swapped it out. now the od light is blinking and the trans takes off like its in 3rd gear. once i hit 55 or so it gets its "feeling" back, you know, good r's and speed, nice throttle responce, but still no shifting. if i drive it for 30 mins or so i can hear "gurgling" in the dipstick immediately after i shut it off. also after sitting for about ten mins trans fluid came out the bell housing plug,about 1/2 quart.
Any ideas?
