If it dosnt go away i would try poking it with a needle and then squeegy it down. Usually it does go away though cause it shrinks or something like that.
EnergizerBunny69 thanks for letting me know about your gallery. That would be awesome if you were able to take a couple more pictures too. I really want to get a feel for what the tint looks like before I have it put on. Don't want to have to re-do it.
abah sorry for hijacking your thread a little bit. Hope you didn't mind.
Factory is 20%. 35 up front will typically keep the cops off your butt if you live in a stae where it is illegal to tint the fronts period like Michigan. I have the factor rears and 35 on the fronts, I wish I had the 20 up front but the tickets and hassel are not worth it.
Also the post about multiple layers is a new one to me. The films come in different tint levels they are not layered up. Layering is way to time consuming to put on.
The shop that did mine the guy haad a Jeep that had 50 on the entire windsheild.
Just a little note.....in alot of states..... tinting the front windshield in the drivers viewing area is ilegal. Tint ranges in a variety of %'s, from 5% to I have seen 75%, which I can not see the sense in that. Because the higher you go in the number, the more sun you are letting in your vehicle and prying eyes. 20% on your drvr. and pass. window might get you noticed. But if you have your windows behind that even darker, most times the cops will not give you a second look, because you can see through that %. Alot of states have the 35% law in effect.
That tint is definitely 50%, no way in hell its 35%. I have 35% on my front two windows in my scab to match the factory "privacy glass".
The factory tint on Ford vehicles is 20%. From the picture that you are talking about, which I did look at, IT COULD, in fact be 35%. You have to take ALOT of things into consideration when you go judging what the level of tint is in a vehicle. For example; position of the front window in relation to the sun, size of the vehicle, interior color, whether there is a tint strip on the front window, manufactuer of the tint and lastly what the level (%) of tint is on the back windows. I have had tinted windows on my vehicles for some years now. I KNOW and understand the art of the illusion of tinted windows, which is why I am going on about this subject. Take my truck for example; depending on where you are in relation to which window you are looking, you will be unable to see through the drvr. and pass. side windows. Especially if the sun screen is in the front windshield. From the side profile of this truck that is in question, take ALL of the above information into consideration, BEFORE you make a comment like that, you could be very wrong in your assumtion. Unless you know something about this truck that the rest of us doesn't know about this truck. Do you ? I have been slacking on getting some more photos of my trucks windows on here. I will work on that this week. Did not mean to slam on you on this subject.
