Blower doesn't work at any speed. Fuse is good. 12.3 volts to the connector at motor. What do I check next? I never had a blower motor go bad. How do I check ohms to see if there is a short?
I just had to replace the blower motor on my 1997 F250. We checked all connections for power and found that the motor was bad. We plugged the new one in before we installed it to make sure that it solved the problem and it did.
Check the resistor pack first, it is located in the engine compartment, passanger side. You will see a connector with about 4 wires going into the duct work for cab circulation. A simple check before you get into a blower motor.

How do you identify a bad resistor is if visibly burnt? or can you test it with a multimeter? Also If the A/c Blower doesnt come on would this prevent the compressor from cycling on as well? If i'm not mistaken if the blower/resistor is shot the compressor should still run but the blower won't bring any of that chilly goodness into the cab. Am I correct?
The resistor pack has several resistors on it and you can visually see if one is broken. In your case all of them would have to be broken.
I had a resistor go on one of my trucks, the fan would only work at a certain speed. I doubt all the resistors would break at the same time, but hey, a quick cheap check w/12v to the motor and one scerw (I think) pulls the resistors out for a quick peak. Won't cost anything but time either way.
