8' FORD scripted Flatbed Stake Dump, Where?
An 8' Dump Stake body would be Reeeel nice on my F-5, Where to find such a beast?

Check with Northern Classis Trucks, near Detroit MI. They list parts & kits
for a 9' & 12' stake side bed with the Ford script. They are a Ford licensed

Bedding down
I bought a used Reading 12 X 8 flat bed used that was on a 70's 1 Ton+ Ford Superduty.
It has a 2000 lb Waltco Liftgate on the back and was about $1000.... Pictures to follow in my gallery this winter..
THere's a lot of stuff out there....I found it in the "Little Nickel" I also found that excellnt STD bore 292 on Craigslist.

I bought an entire 9 foot Ford script flatbed with all of the original hardware about two years ago for $200. I don't know how it made it this long without loosing any of the hardward because 90% of the wood is rotted away, in fact my foot went through a soft part of the bed. Other than bad rub bars and two 3" rust holes in the main struction, the bed in very solid and only has a few minor dents. The guy I bought it from had it on a '57 Ch**y truck that he bought for the motor and didn't want to the bed. I have pictures in my gallery.
They're still out there, you just have to keep looking. I found this one after a person answered an ad I posted on a web site. He had an 8' bed and had to turn his down but a couple of weeks later he sent me a copy of an ad in Old Cars Weekly.
